OUR ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
We are working to ensure we employ a full range of environmental measures on our site and recognises that Night Garden has a environmental impact.
Our aim to minimise any negative environmental impact of the event. We have attempted to cover the main sustainable measures taken by Night Garden and our main suppliers, to reduce our carbon footprint on our site in 2017.
GREEN TRANSPORT POLICY
Night Garden is a celebration of arts and outdoors, set in the green field grounds of Firle Estate.
We encourage our visitors and staff to make use of car sharing when travelling to the event.
WASTE & RECYCLING POLICY
Night Garden is committed to minimising the volume of waste, and managing the on-site collection of that waste efficiently.
We recognise that the event policy to reduce and manage the waste generated on-site is especially important.
Night Garden commits to reduce the waste that goes to landfill by increasing the volume of waste that is recycled.
Night Garden operates a ‘leave no trace’ policy. Clear signage accompanied by ample bins and recycling points positioned throughout site ensure visitors are encouraged to ‘leave no trace’ and to respect the parkland the event is held on.
